We would like you to develop an idea for children’s television animation. The show
can explore any theme or genre, but must contain a mixture of 2D and 3D
animation.
You have the opportunity to pitch your ideas to a potential client to promote your
animation idea. The pitch requires a taster animation or trailer that should last
between 30 – 60 seconds.
It is recommended that your 3D scene may take the form of an environment such
as a room, or other internal space. You may also make a street, built environment
or city scape.
The 2D element of your animation, may include stop frame, hand rendered such as
drawn, Claymation or direct film, vector based animation or rotoscoping
(superimposing video) etc.
Your animation must have a soundtrack and contain both opening and closing
credits which includes your name, the name of the animation and any credits for
anyone that helped with the film such as voice overs, music etc.
